One of the biggest challenges for municipalities is getting department staff educated on the insurance requirements. Like contract training, we provide flexible training on insurance from municipal wide to staff specific, in person and virtual.
With electronic contracts you regain control over your terms and conditions and insurance that the proper parties review, approve and sign off on the agreement.
Since you create your terms and conditions of your contract in the e-contract system and those cannot be changed by anyone other than staff, much less time is needed for attorney review. Moreover, when litigation arises, you can find your contract and it has terms and conditions protective of your municipality.
All steps of the contract process are significantly faster and in some cases nearly instant. From locating contract templates to drafting, sending for review and signature and finally monitoring the executive contract.
With an E–Contract System, your base contract terms and conditions are set and cannot be altered, the process that the contract goes through for review and signature is also pre-established in the software. Staff input is limited to start and end dates, vendor information and attaching any associated documents to the base contract.
The E-Contract System automatically tracks contract expiration dates as well as insurance certificate dates. It then will automatically send email notices to your staff and to the vendor informing them that these important dates are upcoming.
Contracts and associated documentation in an e-contract software are password protected in addition to added permission levels depending on the user.
